Review: The assistance from Kodee, may only be a non-human AI, but it is exceptional. Ask a question giving as much detail as possible, and it will patiently ask you some "extra info required" questions, and, once you have thoroughly explained the issue, Kodee come back with a GUIDED LIST of things to do to correct the issue. One tip though, before you "Ask Kodee", open another window and go to the same area of your Hostinger site that you are having an issue with and make the adjustments there. That way you can quickly switch (Ctrl+Tab) between Kodee’s steps and the exact area you’re configuring on your Hostinger account.

Review: Can't say much about their hosting services, but I can tell you that trying to solve an issue with their support is a nightmare. You can't ring them , you have to communicate through emails or AI chat, Most of the people from their support team don't read your emails, they are just processing your case like bots. I was trying to recover some old emails from their account for the last 2 weeks, no luck.

Review: In general, the web designer is affordable and easy to use. But it has some fundamental issues, such as the phone version always needs updating as it does really odd stuff... I've had Hostinger for a year and had my email inaccessible multiple times, which has been really frustrating. This time it's been going on for more than 7 hours, which is just wild for a email platform! Not very reliable.

Review: Following on the AI enabled portal, e-mail client setting using pop3 to delete all mails following the download is not supported anymore. If you don't want mails on Hostinger server for security and privacy reason you need to delete the mails manually. :-((((( Furthermore mails within the portal can only be deleted using the AI :-(((( They sell all this as an "security feature" This means AI takes over ... Very bad idea

Review: I like how reactive the support team is, and how they do their best to help you with your issues. I've used the support system a couple of time and have always gotten satisfying answers or solutions to my queries. I like to say that their chatbot 'Kodee' is also excellent at providing solutions to usual problems, I have honestly found it more helpful and accurate than 2 other hosting companies I've used before Hostinger.

Review: After I switched off the auto renewal and also asked them to delete my account... They confirmed it is switched off and nothing to pay for and my account will be deleted if the domain due date is expired. What happened!? Two weeks later they tried to charge me for $200 Ridiculous. Insane. After I told them what are they doing that is terrible , stupid. They informed me they auto renewal is on. But I called them, I did in my account. It was off, confirmed by them. Now is on. Amateurs. I am going to report them everywhere, because this is just something that against the law.

Review: Extremely disappointed with Hostinger's AI features. The article generator produces empty pages with absolutely no content, even when using detailed and correct prompts. To make matters worse, I constantly encounter errors when trying to publish, and the platform seems incapable of resolving these glitches. A frustrating waste of time.

Review: This is a final update to my previous reviews. The worst-case scenario has happened: My domain has been acquired by another person and I have lost access to it permanently. While I have admitted from the start that the initial expiration was an oversight on my end, the reason I permanently lost this asset is entirely due to Hostinger’s absolute refusal to help a customer in a difficult situation. Here is the timeline of failure: The Lockout: Because the domain expired, the associated email went down. I couldn’t receive the verification code to log in. The Impossible Ask: Hostinger demanded a specific PayPal receipt to verify ownership. I explained repeatedly that I had moved countries and the PayPal account was closed. It was physically impossible to provide this specific document.

Review: However a few months ago I noticed my site wasn't appearing due to expired security certificates. I logged in, and tried to resolve it, but without success. Since I was changing tack with my work, I didn't pursue it. Anyway I'd been thinking of moving to a Canadian host, so let my subscription lapse. But when I asked for my data from the old site - I was told I would need to purchase a new hosting plan so that they could restore the backups. Don't worry - they said - you can get a refund if cancelling within 30 days. That's a totally crappy way to reward me for being their customer, even if I am leaving. I mean, I was with them for FOUR years.

Review: “Horizons is still in early development.” That was one of the canned responses I received during my Hostinger Horizons experience. So they openly admit the product isn’t ready — yet they still sell it at full price, without clearly disclosing its limitations. Customers end up funding their unfinished platform while being locked into a year‑long plan. The support Ping-Pong was long (& I wasted about 130 useless credits along the way), When I escalated & made it clear that forcing customers to stay subscribed to an incomplete product could justify a class action lawsuit, suddenly the tone changed. Hostinger decided to fully refund both my annual plan and the extra 500‑credit package I had purchased. That alone should tell you something. 🚫 Be cautious before paying for Horizons. ✅ You can achieve far more using free tools.

Review: I have purchased hostinger products and have paid for horizons too , many time. The worst is there is no human interaction to solve your problems. Ece the support email is operated by chatbots. frustrated!!!(1) I have done auto-pay off yet i got charged through card, because they keep trying all ways. Yet i did not complain.(2) My code has got erased in horizons and on previous occasions has got changed weirdly and lost it. I mostly see the code acting weired especially when around 100 credits are left, is it so that entire thing is ruined automatically as horizons acts up and we are forced to subscribe??? Max, they put up a fake display saying: A colleague will join soon. If you want to continue chatting with Kodee, you can leave the queue. ..................that stays forever on kodee..

Review: DO NOT BUY LONG-TERM SUBSCRIPTIONS! Hostinger Horizons is only suitable for very small and simple projects. Once your project grows, the platform becomes effectively unusable. The main issue is that Horizons is marketed for large projects, but in reality it cannot handle them. If you build something bigger, there is no clear exit -> you get locked in. After more than half a year, I was told I needed professional help outside of Hostinger, even though my project was completely normal. The biggest problem: At a certain point (which you cannot recognize), the AI still sounds confident and positive, but it starts introducing multiple errors. Support then tells you to write better prompts, making you believe you are the problem. Only much later are you told the truth: your project is simply too large for Horizons. Final verdict: Okay for tiny projects. NOT RECOMMENDED for serious or growing websites.

When I contacted support and reported that the website had been down for a day, they stated that they couldn't assist because the billing team was handling the issue and we would have to wait for a response. Review: I have used Hostinger for several years and the main problem I have with them is their customer service. As they are based on Cyprus, there is no way to talk to a live person, so you must sign on with Chat help. And then you get switched from one person to another and must repeat the problem each time. This is more than annoying and time-consuming considering what they charge for hosting. They should do MUCH better. Perhaps Bluehost. But only if they have a phone. ;-)

Review: I’ve been using Hostinger for two years. My initial subscription was approximately £65 for 24 months under a promotional offer. At renewal, I was automatically charged £107.88 for just 12 months, with no clear warning that the billing period had changed. When I contacted support, I was told this is a “system default” and that returning to a 24-month plan would now cost £263.76 (over £130 per year). While the payment is refundable, customer support offered no goodwill, loyalty pricing, or reasonable adjustment — only a generic discount code for Black Friday. If you’re considering Hostinger, be very careful with renewals: billing periods may change automatically, and prices can increase dramatically after the initial term. I’m staying only because my site was set up by a third party, not because of a positive customer service experience :(

Review: I am rather annoyed with the management and the way their professionals have to handle situations I heard about hostinger and first I was really positively surprised about them and their service. However, now after the fifth day of trying to migrate my web domain and them being unable to do it, I am starting to lose my nerves with them. It is not that they are incapable but the way the poor team members have to deal with clients is unbelievable. Every 3 hours the service person - whom you tell the whole story of your problem so he understands what's going on - changes to someone new. And the whole show starts anew. Instead of staying with one person to the end, they deal with the person for 20 seconds and then you have to wait for 10 minutes until the service member returns again. That's already two unbearable things ... Furthermore I find it rather a nuisance that noone is able to handle a specific problem individually.

Review: The logic at Hostinger is ridiculous. I paid for AI Horizons, it failed to solve the problem, and it kept eating my credits for nothing. When I asked for a refund, they refused because I had already used the credits. So basically, you pay to find out the tool is broken, and because you found out it’s broken, you lose your right to a refund. This is a dishonest business practice. The AI is overpriced and the refund policy is a joke. Don’t waste your hard-earned money on this "credit-burning" machine

Review: I really don't get all the hype and popularity of this service and company. I think they only get more users because of race to the bottom of pricing. I signed up for self-hosted n8n VPS with 100 workflows and got an empty VPS with nothing installed. The only support is an AI chat bot. Although the bot was helpful, I didn't want to spend the time installing something I already paid for, plus even if I installed n8n it would not come with the 100 workflows they promised. NO WAY TO CONTACT SUPPORT, there is NO support available. Chatbot tried to transfer me to a real person but after 30 minutes of waiting I gave up and cancelled my account. Other than attracting a bunch of cheap kids as customers, I don't see the value. I gave details when cancelling (they survey you) and NOBODY got back to me, so I figured they didn't care. Glad I saved myself the guaranteed future stress.

Review: I used this company for domain hosting a few years ago. My contact details were leaked onto the dark web and I have been absolutely inundated with scams and scammers since. I even fell victim to one of the scams. They are from unscrupulous characters on the dark web. I have since issued proceedings against the company legally and have attempted to resolve the matter through discussion but have been met with nothing but silence since despite seeking to compromise to save all parties time. I have serious concerns about this company I would recommend looking elsewhere for hosting, unless you want your details leaked onto the dark web.

Review: Have been using VPS services for a while. It is okay when working but recently they have started to aggressively throttling CPU use and limiting excessively. Freshly installed VPS with nothing on it except Coolify on mid plan should not cause 80% CPU use.. They downright lie to save money and support is non-existent.

Review: Following up on my previous technical audits of Hostinger Horizons. After moving past their security flaws and credit-draining prompt patterns, I have encountered a new, even more frustrating tier of service failure: The Infrastructure Lockout. This morning, I attempted to access my project only to be met with a 503 Service Unavailable console error. For those unaware, a 503 is a server-side failure. My code was functioning perfectly when I stopped working; the "managed" environment Hostinger provides simply crashed. The "Resolution" Scam: Because Hostinger locks users out of the terminal and file system, I had no way to simply restart the Node.js process. When I contacted support, their only solution was to "Restore" the app to a previous state. A "Restore" wipes out hours of manual repairs and security patches I performed. They attempted to "hush" me by depositing 10 credits into my account without my approval.

Review: I gave 2 stars because in 2024 Hostinger was good to me but in 2025 I wondered if it’s the same Hostinger because they started suspending my domain and host and refusing to refund even when the purschase was not up to 3 days… they demanded documents I didn’t have… I’m a web developer, how am I suppose to get the document of other people business registration??? More than 60 of my domain suspended along with several host. I moved to rabhost which was cheaper but now even rabhost is worse (they take your money but hosting / domain pends forever) I think every year I will keep changing hosting providers

First, it’s important to say this clearly: Hostinger Horizon is a powerful and innovative tool. Once you understand how it works and gain enough practice, you can unlock its full potential. It is not a plug-and-play solution — it requires learning, testing, and experience to use it efficiently. From a product and vision standpoint, Horizon deserves 5 stars. However, customer support quality needs serious improvement. Despite multiple interactions, the support team was unable to provide a clear or effective solution to a relatively straightforward issue. The guidance given was inconsistent, and it became increasingly apparent that the agents involved did not fully understand how to properly resolve the problem. Ultimately, after significant time loss, I had to figure out the solution on my own, without meaningful support assistance.

Hostinger sells Horizon message credits as a paid product, yet those credits expire and are taken away, even though they were already purchased with real money. In my opinion, this system feels deeply unfair and misleading. When you buy something, it should belong to you — not quietly disappear because time ran out. I recently lost 40 Horizon message credits on the 30th day, simply because they expired. These were credits I genuinely needed and intended to use. Horizons is not just a casual tool for me — it is something I rely on to generate ideas, complete projects, and support my livelihood. Losing paid credits directly affects how you work and earn.
